Well, I haven't been on here in forever, because I could not log on for some strange reason...anyway, life has been flying by. Work transferred me last fall, so I no longer get to play with Macs as much. Now I actually get to work with students. Wooh-hoo! 10 more years 'till retirement!

I got my kitchen and bath remodeled (thanks Jay!) and it all looks groovy. I still can't seem to keep a clean house, though, no matter what I do. I blame the cat.

I have been following my cousin Laura's blogs on this same site. She is doing battle with breast cancer. I'm thinking this chick knows how to kick some arse! You can check it all out with this link... http://lauravickers.blogspot.com/

So I've just about decided that Chris and I are going to go to the Sonshine music festival in July. I've never been before, but I know quite a few people that have gone, and they all pretty much say that it is a zoo. But a fun zoo. Sounds like my kind of party. Good Christian music, thousands of other crazies celebrating the love of Our Lord and each other, and camping! What more could one want?

Welcome to my spot! This is a work in progress, and I am going to try to update it weekly with goings-on, fun stuff, and maybe a joke or two. In my quest to be a MacIntosh geek, I will also post some of the more unusal, goofy, and downright bizzare stuff I learn in my Mac travels. Take today, for instance...I spent the entire morning trying to figure out why, when I saved a PowerPoint presentation as a Quicktime movie, a lot of the recorded narration didn't come along on the movie. It took a lot of website searching to finally find out that, unless you keep the little megaphone symbol that appears when you record in PPT and don't delete it, the recording will only play in PowerPoint, and will not transfer to a Quicktime movie. Bummer.

Anyway, the weekend is here, and I plan on getting some R & R, for once. The house needs cleaning, there is music to practice, and exercise to indulge in, but I need some down time. And a glass of Cab.
